How to Buy

All products ordered from Your Pet’s Butcher should be picked up at Canine University on the dates and times specified. You can order by Thursday and pick up during noted days/hours the following week. We also have a freezer set up at Canine University where we have a rotating selection of raw meat and bones, organ meat, etc; you can elect to come in & shop during these same hours. At this time we are not set up to deliver nor ship goods.

All products we sell are human grade. Where possible we try to buy from local farmers, and for some products are happy to offer an all-natural option. As meat is a traded commodity there are often daily price fluctuations, so for online orders the price you pay us is in actuality a deposit on a specific quantity, when you pick up your order you may need to pay slightly more or be entitled to a small refund. I have noted either an estimated price per pound or the price from our last order with each.

We accept cash and checks for payment, as well as credit and debit cards through Paypal (our trusted payment solution provider). Any charges will show up on your statement as ‘CANINEUNIV’, as we share their Paypal account; you will receive confirmation of a payment via email from Paypal. Paypal doesn’t require you to join to pay this way, there’s no fees to you nor must you ‘join’ Paypal, and your private info remains private secure, though we do ask that when ordering thru our website be sure to provide both an email address and telephone number in the note field should we need to contact you about your order, and/or send us an email with these details.

Deadlines for ordering are Thursday evenings, anything received after this time will be processed for the following week. We usually send an email to confirm that we have an order from you and the times when it is possible to pick up @ Canine University. Unless you hear from us to the contrary, if your order is on time it is safe to assume that your order will be available for pick up.
To expedite things, we recommend that you print out and bring with you the receipt which Paypal emails you. All product is packaged & stored in our chest freezer. Those who have placed orders will have their items labeled in some fashion, and there will be an itemized receipt attached or adjacent to our cooler.

Canine University, is an established family dog training facility that has served greater Boston since 1992. Our hours for pickup correspond with times when they have classes or dog daycare in session; depending on when you arrive the staff (who don’t necessarily work for Bone Depot) may be engaged with training clients or daycare dogs, and can assist you as time permits. Also for this reason we cannot accommodate your dog inside the training center unless they are there for class; if you have traveled some distance there is a potty area on the side of the building, and fresh water if they need it.

Place your order by Saturday 2/11/12 and pick up on the week of February 14 at Canine University's Training Center in Malden.

If you would like to pick from among what we have to offer in our freezer, our hours for the week of February 7 are:
Tuesday: 9AM-Noon and 2PM-8PM
Wednesday: 9AM-Noon and 2PM-7PM
Thursday: 9AM-Noon and 2PM-5PM

Hours above are NOT the only times that Canine University is open, just the least disruptive...if you need to come by at a different time, you can e-mail us Mail@BoneDepot.com to seek alternate arrangements

Ordering Information

All meat and bones are sold with the understanding that although human grade they are for your companion animal’s consumption only. Minimum quantities are noted with each product, you can increase or modify your quantities on the checkout page.

When available we also offer an all-natural option; these tend to be more expensive but are usually are fed a better diet, humanely raised , etc. And unless stated otherwise all products are USDA inspected and originate in the USA.

Case Orders: it is not unusual in our experience to have a stray part of another kind show up in cases, ex. a wing in your case of backs. If you have time we’ll be happy to go thru your order when weighing and pick out any of these you don’t wish to purchase, although we cannot offer a full refund of your payment your final weight will be lessened by any discards Also note that Your Pet’s Butcher is not set up to individually ‘trim’ fat etc. from orders.
Please note that there is a 10% discount on all case orders, this increases to 15% per case if you are ordering 5 or more cases total (items ordered in non-case quantities are not discounted).
